COMING SOON !

Thanks to the generosity of Sun Graphics in Plymouth WI, the Camo Quilt Project has beautiful full color brochures. As of July of 2014 Sun Graphics has made us new brochures. They are now reflecting our new patriotic lap quilts as well as the camo. The new brochure is way beyond what we ever imagined! THANK YOU SUN GRAPHICS! Stop by their website at: www.sungraphicsprinting.com and don't forget to let them know you appreciate their donation of designing and printing a brochure for the Camo Quilt Project.

Cutting Fabric

Cutting 40 layers of ACU fabric is easy with the use of the electric rotary cutting saw! The fabric comes on rolls from 20 to 100 yds each. The width is about 66 inches. The fabric is layered onto our cutting table and the first cut is made at 45". After the initial cut to width, the fabric is then cut to 72" lengths. The 21" cut-off is set aside to be cut into bindings, ties, cool-ties and it is also used to piece together additional 45 x 72 inch quilt pieces. We have been using the saw for almost a year now and we are still on the first blade. Pretty impressive since it has cut pieces for more than 1200 quilts!

A Trunk Full of Quilts

Courtney from Madison WI carries an armful of finished quilts to her car. Courtney delivered the carful of 150 quilts to Fort Hood TX.

Thank You From Wisconsin's First Lady

The recent article in the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel caught the attention of First Lady Jessica Doyle, wife of Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle. To view her letter click here: Jessica Doyle letter.
