Camo Quilt Project Milwaukee Area
The Camo Quilt Project has workshops in the Milwaukee area where volunteers can come and work on the quilts. The workshops are being held at Pilgrim Lutheran Church in the church basement. Please enter the Pilgrim Lutheran church basement at the Center Street door. A group of LWML (Lutheran Women Missionary League) women are overseeing the project. Thanks to a donation given by the American Legion Aux Unit 416, Greendale WI, and from National Mutual Benefits, there are 6 Janome sewing machines and other items needed for the project. There are also a few older sewing machines for you to use. If you prefer, you can bring your own sewing machine. If you don't sew, you can still come and pin, trim or inspect quilts or you can press cool-ties or make cards that go into the quilts.
